Ice Skating Victoria saw a large team of skaters represent the state at the National Federation Challenge and Reg Park Artistic Trophy this year which also included the Gwen Peterson Theatre on Ice Trophy. These achievements are a strong indicator that this season has seen the standard of skaters and difficulty in programs increase significantly. This year in ACT Victoria had a lot of podium finishes and came away with 9 first places, 4 second places and 2 third places. Following from that, the prestigeous Reg Park Artistic Trophy was awarded to Montana-Jane Thompson (Preliminary). This is a significant achievement given that the last time a Victorian won this trophy was in 2008.
